EB N' FLOW

 ~BIOGRAPHY~

If you'd like to know my government name, I suggest you pull out a check book ;-)  As a poet I have christened myself as "EB N' FLOW The Rainbow Soul Poet". EB, is a derivative of my name for the record and well I FLOW....... I have been writing as long as I have been able to write, I started with writing plays and penned my first poem at 11yrs old. Using my poetry to stay out of "trouble" in highschool,  my principal was delighted to find the troubled youth in her office to be talented. From that point on I was dubbed the campus poet and I would go on to perform at various assemblies and talent shows. After graduation I would go on to become a regular at an open mic hosted by local indie artist of Los Angeles, CA at Doboys Dozens Cafe in Leimert Park until the suicide of it's owner, my mentor and friend Eugene "Doboy" Williams. This created an era of poetic homelessness in my life and it would be years before I would attend any open mics to perform. Upon going to college I would respond to a flyer for a local talent search when I would meet "Ghetto Gospel". Together we would go on to host our own open mics "Relax, It's Just Poetry" at "The Gay And Lesbian Center" and "Fendi's Cafe" both located in Long Beach, CA. Now residing in GA, I have been a regular on various BlogTalk Radio shows and also assisting an open mic at Hot Spot Cafe which is formerly e2 Coffee House in Decatur, GA.
